TAO Dance Theater 2013 World Tour
TAO Dance Theater's 2013 World Tour was a year of premieres, workshops, residencies, and of course standing ovations, in nine countries across four continents.
From 2009-2016, Ping Pong developed and produced all of TAO's international touring and projects, including all tour and production management, as well as for numerous domestic projects and performances. Ping Pong secured all commissioning support from China and abroad for the co-commissioned works 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
think of a jewel – small, structured, perfectly formed, but with unexpected depth and glorious complexity....attention must be paid; Tao may just emerge as China’s greatest choreographer.
Uncompromising, relentlessly demanding of performer and audience, and offering to all those who dare enter, moments of exquisite beauty and fathoms of force.
