After the success of our "Midsummer Night's Dream" 2014 China tour, Ping Pong Productions brings Oscar-winner Tim Robbins and The Actors’ Gang back to China with the Asia premiere of “Harlequino: On to Freedom”, written and directed by Tim Robbins.

About the Artists
Tim Robbins and The Actors' Gang
Tim Robbins ranks among contemporary cinema’s most acclaimed and provocative voices; an Academy Award-winning, multifaceted talent, Robbins has been producing theater as an actor, director, playwright, and Artistic Director of The Actors' Gang.
For 35 years, The Actors’ Gang has received international acclaim presenting more than 150 new, unconventional and uncompromising plays and dynamic reinterpretations of the classics in Los Angeles, throughout 39 United States, and on five continents. The company was founded in 1981 by a group of like-minded artists looking to create theater relevant to the society we live in and restore the ancient sense of the stage as a shared sacred space.
Through their groundbreaking Education Programs, the actors introduce theatre to at-risk students, encouraging them to find their own creative voices. The Prison Project, recently recognized by the White House and the U.S. Justice Department, is currently running programs in eight California prisons, providing incarcerated men and women rehabilitative programs, significantly reducing recidivism rates.
