Actors and dancers perform in Leonard Bernstein's musical in two acts West Side Story, 19 November 2007 at Paris' Chatelet Theatre. A new cast and touring company was formed on the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking Broadway musical that explores the clash between rival teenage gangs and ethnicities on the west side of Manhattan, based loosely on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
